Hi, I am in the market for a lawn mower. Did any one see if PriceSmart in Santiago has one or two there and how much? I am in sosua so I like to get the information to compare with the local store here.

In Sosua I saw 3 mowers priced between 12,500 to 19,000 peso (Puolan Pro ).

Thank you.

As you know, the Poulan Pro would not be your first choice anywhere else.

Even the best one here has very few options.

I bought a TORO in No America (Home Depot) for $300-350 or so... self propelled, large rear wheels, bagger... yak, yak, yak.
Had it shipped for free to my Mudanza (Awilda Shipping)who charged me $110 for the 81lb box to get to Cabrera.

All in for less than $450 and I have a top quality mower..... same price as the top end Poulan with less options.
AND, its a TORO.... John Deere works too... just find the right deal

Thank you for the info. Is there any tax that you have to pay? Or $450.00 is the net.

If $450 can get me a Toro that will be a much better choice then Poulan Pro. I pay $500.00 for my old one (Poulan Pro 6.5HP) at 2007 in PriceSmart, and it only lasted 4 years........

If you have a neat yard, and need a quality cut, go for Husqvarna lawn mower.
Toro with b&s engine is good, but cant compare with the Husqvarna Honda engine.
They have a store in Santo Domingo, dont know about santiago or POP.

They don't last long here... salty air. I use a cover.
The Husquevarna is a great mower.... I couldn't afford it.... big money here.

No tax tax w/ the right Mudanza

I should add that I bought two but both were not for me. One for me and one for a client. Ours seems to be doing just fine. I also bought a Poulan riding mower 4 years ago and absolutly NO problems with it.
