    Default Bicycle for my son

    Hi there,

somebody please can tell me where I can buy a REAL GOOD bicycle for my 8 yr old boy? NOT a "crappy especially in Xmas time sold made in china falling apart after a week posing a danger exposing sharp edges etc" one but a good brand? I am in Bavaro, so anything not too far away would be nice.
Btw one of these swimming pools for kids I am looking for, too. Not the ones from rubber where you need an air compressor for, though.

    Thanks
    Michael

Think Santo Domingo for your best choices. MAYBE Higuey....Sorry Mike, but you all are at the end-of-the-world out there. Just the price you have to pay for those beaches..

I saw bicycles at Ferretaria Americana in SDQ..... pretty good ones they looked like.

    Brand names you would know.

There is a very good bicycle shop in Ciudad Las Canas, Cap Cana. The toy shop in Punta Cana Village has a smallish selection of children and adult bikes. Americana in Friusa is another possibility. Otherwise, possibly Verón, but more realistically - Higuey or La Romana.

Veron is no option. Cap Cana / Punta Cana Village I will have a look next week. Thank you very much!
