Hey Guys,

after spending the summer here in sosua, i have the strong urge to move somewhere else, somewhere a bit more "normal", it doesnt really help me staying here in learning spanish. i was thinking about santiago, but unfortunately i havent found to many infos about santiago.

i'd be especially interested in a short description or some help of the districts/neighborhoods (i of course used the forum search).

i am looking for something lively to live with some bars/cafe's/restaurants, also frequented during the day, not a top-notch high rise/gated community in the middle of nowhere. university nearby might be a plus, as the area surrounding universities are typically a bit more crowded.

if someone has contacts to real estate agents (on top of the forum rentals) i would appreciate receiving the contact.

thanks a lot,
christian

1) Jardines Metropolitanos: clubs, restaurants, hotels, casinos, PUCMM and two other "universities" are nearby by walking (O&M) or p?blico (Pucmm and Utesa)
2) Villa Olga
3) Loter?a, across the street from PUCMM

There are neighborhoods near these that will also fit your needs.
