Construction near Iberostar Costa Dorada

Help... i've just been informed that there's a new hotel been built next door to the Iberostar Costa Dorada (which I am staying at next month). Does anyone know how much disruption/noice this is causing. Is it causing an eyesore?
Any info much appreciated.

Friend of mine returned last week from the Iberostar Costa Dorada and had nothing but good things to say about everything at the resort. No mention of the construction, so I wouldn't worry about it.
