yep... David is right... and it is quite good...

you will have to point as the staff has no idea of what feta is...

Once again Playero the rescue!! I know it is not the cheapest but they have always consistently had what I was looking for in the North Coast even more so than La Sirena. I even found greens mustard and kale and I never have seen them in DR before. Keep up the great work Playero!!!

Supermercado Nacional carries plenty of Feta..both from large blocks to pre packed

Delicious Feta Cheese

Our friend brought delicious FETA from the Playero SM, about 245 Pesos/pound.
If I knew who the supplier/distributor is (probably from Santo Domingo or Santiago) I would try to get a more frequent delivery...
I think it is sold to the shops in plastic buckets in which the blocks float in salty brine.
