Finding housing in Puerto Plata?

Other than craigslist were can I find places to long term rent in Puerto Plata that is cheap (but nice and safe)? Is there a website I can go to or a company I can call that deals with this?

YOur best bet is to drive around and answer signs. Or the newspaper, Listin Diario classifieds. Not something you are going to get done from long distance without someone on the ground.
