Today I had to go to POP to the main office of Orange. As the only directions I got were "near the parque central", and, "across the old cinema", I decided to head in the general direction and then approach a motoconcho to guide me the rest of the way.
I saw a small group of them, stopped, honked my horn, and one came running over. I explained what I wanted, and he replied "no problema"... He went back to his friends, talked for 30 secs and motioned me to follow one of his friends.
I did, and it became quite clear this guy could not bend his right leg anymore (it just hung limp from the side of his moto, barely an inch from the road...).
Anyways, he did a fantastic job and got us there within minutes, even stopping traffic for us following him in the jeepeta.
My guess is they were giving him the easy jobs, so he could earn something... and he earned his money from me, as he saved me quite a lot of unnecessary turns and twists (the old cinema now apparently is a church)
