Looking for good quality welding / work boots in Santiago.
Have you tried the shoe store next to PriceSmart?, Los Muchachos? Do you have any friends at Timberland? Talk to Robert@dr1.com, he recently bought some hard toe boots here.
Or Amazon.com and have them shipped by CPS or Business Mail.

although timberland does have some good boots that can be found around, but the time and energy you will spend, online buy is it, the 1200 - 1500 pesos you spend on shipping well worth it.
Example I just bought on Amazon a Cordless Dewalt Hammer Drill with case and 2 batteries, US$159.95 + US$52.00 for shipping = RD$8,056.00 never left the house, have been to three local places that sell the same for RD$12,850.00, no case and ONE battery, wasted my time going out didn't I?
