Why would you want to?

The price of propane is no longer subsidized and there virtually no difference in net operating cost of a vehicle.

I have a full Romano venturi system in perfect operating condition with a spare tire tank and fuel gauge for sale for RD$15,000 installed, less than half the cost of a new system.

I can have mine installed in Santiago as good as the shops can. My mechanic is a whiz...

I sold my 4WD SUV and the buyer didn't want it.

Ford Explore with Tartarini around 58,000
Montero Sport Lovato System 24,000
Big difference in price, but also the difference in quality and safety is remarkable.
I will go again with Tartarini, but this time with Gas Natural.

I remember when LPG was cheap like 32 peso a gallon but the problem was there weren't so many stations to fill up...................Fast forward to 2011.....I remember when Natural gas was cheap like 23 pesos a gallon but the problem was there weren't so many stations to fill up

Moral of the story when the demand is high the price follows close by....

is that for propane, or natural gas? i am made to understand that natural gas conversions are way more costly. therefore, i would expect the cost of natural gas to run near six figures, no?

The #1 complaint with CNG conversions on gasoline engines is significant degradation in performance, even worse than propane.

The thermal potential of NG is maybe 60% of gasoline.

I suspect the difference is the $RD58k system has injectors milled into the intake runners and the ignition system rechipped and the $RD24k system is a standard venturi system.

I'd be shocked if the injector conversion is under $RD80k for a V-8 engine, and maybe even more...
