We will be in Cabarete for 6 months and I am looking for an English speaking Evangelical church. Does anyone know where there is one? If not where is the closest Spanish church? thx

There are Dominican evangelical churches all over the place. You might not recognize them so the best thing is ask one of the local Dominicans.

New Life Church

Take a look at Welcome to New Life Church. Really great laid back church in Sosua.

I agree about New Life Church. Good sound messages, lots of outreach to the community. They offer children's church during the services as well as Adult and Teen Bible study throughout the week. One of the reasons that I love it there is because there are so many different nationalities represented there every week. It's like a foretaste of Heaven...every tribe and every nation surrounding the throne to worship
