Virginia Perez, Dominicana Running For County Legislator. Inspring Story

I want to introduce DR1 to a friend of mine running for County Legislator here in Westchester County, NY. She came here as a child from Haina. Virginia got involved in politics after her brother was murdered. She is extremely passionate, well spoken and a tireless campaigner. Here is a link to her website;

Update;

Virginia won her election last night by an almost 3 to 1 margin. She is the first Dominican to be elected to the County Legislature. Felicidades Virginia!
