The two ways I know of are passing through the capital or taking the Constanza - San Jose de Ocoa Road. The condition of the Constanza - Ocoa Road is terrible and you will need a vehicle with good clearance. With that said, the views are amazing and you will pass through Valle Nuevo National Park; the highest savannah forest in the Caribbean.
