I have a Siemens Speedstream 4200 modem for my Codetel Flash. According to the manufacturer's specifications, it is also a wireless router.

A long time ago, I remember reading a post on DR1 that gave instructions for using Codetel modems for wireless networking. I don't remember the specifics and cannot find the post. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

Thanks!

I also have Speedstream 4200 modem at home, and I can assure you that it is NOT a wireless router. It can be used WITH a wireless router (D-link, Linksys, etc.).

Thank you both! I was reading some instructions that said that the 4200 functioned as a wireless router and therefore a router had to be "emasculated" and converted to a wireless access point.

Just connecting a Linksys router in not a problem.
