Last trip we built a large [35' x 20'] raised [only 3' off ground] terrazzo on the back of our house. We had to leave before we finished. Right now we're debating between a traditional cement roof and columns, and a metal tejas roof. The only guy we found who can supply the metal roof is in Barahona. He just brings the roof to you [with a hefty delivery cost], doesn't do installation, framing, etc.
Anyone know of someone nearer? San Cristobal, Santo Domingo, Bani, Nizao?
Any thoughts as to which would be better - the metal or the cement? We will also be enclosing the terrazzo with decorative metal bars for security.
Thanks for any opinions
