I will be flying back next week to do a full report for the family in Canada. I did speak to someone in Cabarete and they informed me that where the men were swimming was not a place to be swimming due to large waves and heavy currents. I was also informed that they have been vacationing in Cabarete for many years. Very sad story, very sad.
very very Sad, there was an elderly man yesterday almost sucked under and out at Sosua beach too. I am 20 years younger and would not have ventured into those breakers yesterday. His friends pulled him out.
Can Only urge caution to people who are not appreciative of the power of the undertows and the breakers .
