Just a minute or so ago my Alarm went off here in Santiago.

Was on the phone and the person said their house was shaking in Santiago.
I did not notice at my house any shaking in my area of Santiago.

Jarabacoa, our window fell out and was strong enough for us to jump up and then decide to get back into bed again as we were over reacting and so bloody cold. Never know how these things are gunna go so good fun!

Woke me up but I thought my Rottie was scratching herself while she leaned against the bed... so minimally felt in Punta Cana.

We live on the west side of SDQ and it woke me up. Never experienced that before. We are on the 9th floor and the only people in our complex that woke up all lived on upper floors. Reportedly our building was built with some sort of shock absorbtion and it makes sense for the top floors to get bounced around a bit.

I felt it in Sosua. My bed shook.
I thought..'wow ..I wonder if that was an earthquake' and sure enough it was.

Santo Domingo near M?ximo G?mez*

It woke me up out of a deep sleep and got the dogs barking. There may have been some mild shaking; there was some noise which I thought was a motorcycle. I took a look out the window to see if a neighbor had come home on his Harley but it was covered up.

* M?ximo G?mez was born in Bani.
