Has Claro (formerly Codetel*) stopped providing a server for usenet newsgroups?
I spoke to their technical support yesterday and the CSR didn't know what I was talking about.
If I ping news.claro.net.do it returns "could not find host".
If I ping news.codetel.net.do the ping kicks to news.isp.giganews.com successfully. When I configure my news reader and try to access groups I need it returns "error 482 access denied".
*They can change their name all they want but they will always be jodetel.:tired:
