Hello everyone,I very recently came across this site.you guys provide a great deal of interesting and useful info,so i decided to join..Hope you guys bear with me as I learn the protocol here!
I'm a US citizen,born and raised in NYC.been to the DR a couple of times and I'm planning on going to STI the beginning of next month and will also be meeting a girl who lives in "Villa Gomez" ,so I guess she would be considered a "Campesina"? I would rate my spanish proficency at the intermidiate level at best,so i'm still learning the terminology. but so far from what I've read,the this term seems usually to have negative connotations attatched to it.But anyway, any suggestions on a decent hotel inexpensive hotel in the area without the "gringo prices" would be greatly appreciated.
