Another Happy Story

This is why I love it here..

My car has been an erratic starter for quite a while now. New battery needed and installed but still problems. No start crank noise - nada. Just silence when i turn the key.

This morning in the garage, multiple tries to get going - finally catches.

I go to my local wine purveyor in RSJ where I am somewhat of a regular customer - only a couple of hotels buy more than I .

The godd@mn car balks again !!!
Thats it - I ask Sr Fermin to call his mechanic for a fix.
Si senor, no problema, says he to his best client.

The man arrives , crawls under the car in the gravel on the spot.

Verifies the current, reattaches evrything and I'm on my way in less than 20 minutes in total.

500 pesos and I am mobile once again.

What's not to like about that???

Sr Fermin - right at the corner on the way into town.

I mean, the wine is still just whats available here but he'll look for things if you ask.

I'll bring a bottle back from SDQ or Santiago and ask him to find it.
If he can, he brings it in.

His prices are decent and get better as you "build trade" with him.
