    That's a name from the past. One of my idols in London in the late '50s. Met him a few times through mutual friends. He taught me all I knew about blues and jazz and had very enlightened social views for the times. But his folk music interests and knowledge encompassed the whole world. An over-used phrase but true in his case. Ask him for a sample of Nepalese nose-flute music and he could probably dig one up. Many stars like the Rolling Stones and Eric Clapton largely owe their careers to the market he created.
