It's a pity. I was only at the beach once some 20 years ago when it was completely pristine and the only buildings were changing booths on the beach.

Work is underway now... 2 bulldozers and a steamshovel (or whatever they're called these days)

Controversial to say the least...... All the official signage reads that it is a beach access improvement project, suggesting that people should be thankful.

One house is mostly completed on the 2nd hole of the golf course - about $2million worth or more.

The old hotel structures are demolished and removed.

The times, they are achangin'.....

The beah access is controversial but let's hope the project works out.

This isn't a group of passive investors, they are people who intend to build here an visit here.
Jobs will be created, money spent.

Its a big vote of confidence by some pretty influential people.
They are already heavily involved in supporting RSJ.

Hopefully it will all be a plus for everybody.... time will tell.

No, I didn't realize it until after i read the article that this was back in 2005. Nevertheless, it was well written and very interesting!

But no, i didn't have a clue when this was written. I'm an idiot!
