From today's Sosua News:

We have heard that the Casino and Hotel Playa Chiquita have been bought by a U.S. investor from Miami. This investor has big plans for the complex. Not only is he busy renovating and modernizing the hotel and the casino opposite the hotel, but he also wants to build apartments next to the complex. Because of these alterations the entrance to the casino has temporarily moved to the side of the building. The original entrance will be more luxurious, more modern and appropriate to the big plans of the American investor.

The parking and access roads will also be leveled. The beach of Playa Chiquita is just at 2 minutes walking distance.
With the presence of tennis courts (Aparthotel Playa Chiquita), a cozy bar / restaurant / hotel Voramar immediately around, the whole area will be more attractive for tourism. But what is also very important that these activities and expansions create a lot of employment.

Lets hope he brings in a more honest management team to the casino and eliminates the scams like progressive roulette.

Where exactly is this located?

If you follow Calle Alejo Martinez all the way to it's end, turn to the left and you will see it a block away or so. This is the street that runs past Bailey's, Codetel Office, Casa Marina Reef, etc.
