How Are the Waves in Cabarete, They are High in Sosua

The waves at Punto Frio in Cabarete were huge this morning. I even saw a breaker on the reef, sending a spray up in the air of at least 15 feet.

Is it full moon again? That explains the hair on my back and the growing nails! Hooooooooowwwwwwwwllllllllllll

solar flares? Either that or the huge low that just moved off the east coast of N america. Im gonna surf that sweell in the afternoon

Don't go out into the sea. A man had to be rescued on our beach in Sosua today. Big thanks to the security guard who went into the water and pulled him out. He was taken to the hospital and the report is that he will survive. If YOU chance it, you might not be so fortunate.

Every year the DR loses a number of tourists who venture out swimming in rough surf. Please dont do this. We need you. Dont do it, unless , it is your last day in the DR, you are flying out tomorrow and you have spent all your money and do not plan to come back in the future.

Anyone else seeing the 2 steady lights tonight in the sky over the ocean in Sosua by Casa Marina?
The waters still pretty strong. More like what we see in Dec not March.

do you mean like stars in the sky???? I mean big bright stars???? They're the planets Venus and Jupiter.

Came on here looking for info and saw this thread. Tourist drowned in Cabrera today, I'm still in shock. Be safe, the ocean is strong, especially this week.

Waves are 8 to 10 ft high and breaking hard off Encuantro this morning. Looks like good surfing !
