Car Rental or car/driver puerta plata area

if anyone knows of a reliable car rental in the town of puerta plata please let me know.. or the name of a good driver/guide

im a photographer and i generally rent a car and just drive around ... exploring local communities... I?m fine to do it but some times if there is someone from the area that is good. .. its ok tooy..

Call Elias. Good driver, nice van, speaks english well. Many on DR1 have used him. Search " Elias" for comments on him. His number is 809-842-5557

i am looking for him on this board.. have yet to find him.. but if he doesn’t have an email ill call him

I'd recommend you don't rent a car your first time in DR. When you get there you'll see why. The average driver there would get about 20 moving violations in the US each day. Really scary the way they drive there.
