The two fighters headlined on the poster are Juan Dominguez and Carlos Valdez.

Ken (or anyone) Do you know if the fights are still on...given the closure of Sosua Bay Hotel...? Also, did you ever post the info....i.e. start time, ticket price, etc....

Yes, fight is on. Tomorrow (Friday) night. Start time is 8 pm. The local promoter told me he is going to do his best to get fights started on time.

5 of the fighters are coming from the US.

Ticket prices range from RD$400 to US$80 if you want drinks with the fight.

Tickets are being sold in the lobby of the casino.

Maybe a stupid remark, but I personally would be lying on the floor completely wasted ( at 100rds a beer, I would have drunk 28 large presidentes)

And I would have missed all the fights, as I would be using the bathroom the whole time... lol

You can buy a ticket for yourself for RD$400-500 and see the fights instead of the bathroom. Of course, it won't be from
ring side like the folks paying US$80.

hope its better than last time.... the main event didnt want to go on cuz they didnt collect the minimum gate fee for him to fight... he had packed up and was walkin out the door before the owner paid him out his own pocket to go out n fight...

maybe we could throw the deadbeat guy who rented sosuabay hotel from arrmando and make him fight one of the workers he stiffed for 3 months salary? now i'd pay to see that!! or maybe grease up the cleaning ladies with oil and have some kind of foxy-boxing in bikini's??
