My family of Polish origin used to hard boil eggs and then color them. Is that what you mean?

I have never seen this done in the DR. Somehow chicken eggs never got related to this event here.

Actually windeguy, thanks but I'm looking for Chocolate Easter Eggs. They use to sell German Chocolate Eggs and Kinder Chocolate Eggs at the German store near the Sosua Carwash (ZumStorbrok or some name like that) but they didn't stock them last year :-(

Still, fingers crossed for somewhere else to stock them this year!

That is a product of a whole other animal. Good luck on those. Rare if not unobtanium as well.
