Hello dear DR1 members,

It has been a while since I've visited the forum. I will be going to Bavaro with my mom and I am planning to go to Santo Domingo so she could discover the oldest capital of the New World. Could you recommend a reliable taxi company or driver?

He has lived and driven taxi in the capital for around 25 years ( or more) Non-drinker and very honest. He is married to my wife's cousin - speaks some English. He drives an official taxi.

Most of my wifes male side of the family are taxi drivers in the Capital, just drop a line around the time you're going to want or need one and I'll hook you up with numbers, either one off taxi or day rate driver.
Unlike Bobs recommendation my family speak no English at all, possibly Hello at a push so if you don't speak the lingo then Bobs a better bet.
