Hi everybody,
I am new to this forum,
I have been many times in Dr and thinkong of moving down there ina couple of years. I have a place in Sosua and i have some valuables that i want to put in a safe place. I saw the adcertisement of Banker trust here and I was wondering if anybody has ever used it and if they are reliable... There was another old thread but all the posts had been erased becuse thy were from the Banker Trust management itself ( therefore not relianle). Has Anybody ever used it?
Thank you so much

I have for 4 yrs when I lived in Sosua. Never had any issues with them, and the staff in the office where always very helpful. You will find them in the plaza behind Banco Santa Cruz on PC.

They are not there anymore, they moved to the Infiniti Blu plaza. Thank you so much for your insight. Anyone else had good experiences?

I guess Seachange couldn't get away with posting as a disinterested third party to Bankers Trust any longer.

It will be interesting to see if he surfaces in the future with a new board name.

Please search this dr1 and determine if you want to do business with him yourself.
I personally would not utilize their safe deposit boxes based upon what I read on this forum and his insurance policy.

I only know his rates are outrageous....

Why not use one of the bigger banks here?

Seachange, enough of the spam. Anymore and your account is closed. Don't say you haven't been warned.

"Guard",I guess you were not aware yet, being a "Newbee",but all DR1ers with more than 500 posts, are issued an "A$$HOLE" detecter to attach to our computers!
Your posts here have set them all off!!!!!!
CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC
AND,"STOP YELLING"!
My detecter is still buzzing!

Where is my response? Are the only posters allowed on this thread negative ones?

You already had at least one post in this thead removed by Robert, don't push your luck. The tolerance level on this board for newbie's like you (or sock puppets) is not high.

The OP for this thread was danytravel, not you.

Spam is the use of electronic messaging systems to send unsolicited bulk messages indiscriminately.
When posts are directed to me, I answer them.

Oh ho! Feeling a little feisty, Seachange? You've been around long enough to know quoting the Webster dictionary is a waste of bandwidth on dr1. What counts here is the Robert dictionary.

Rather than making feeble attempts to call what you think is a bluff, but should know better than to think that, why don't you smarten up and take out a paid ad. Those with ads are cut more slack than those who try to get freebie advertising.

And if you feel compelled to answer a question you think is directed to you, send the person who asked it a PM. As long as you still have message board privileges, that is.

You're not an active advertiser, so you don't get that privilege of posting as an advertiser.

Moving on....

Would you really trust a business which blatantly flaunts and encourages illegal behaviour? Many have gone to jail for hiding assets from the government and/or the courts. Bob Brennan sure wishes he didn't hide those casino chips from the court.

Seachange said:
Asset protection is not a crime, nor is having financial privacy.

Clients may use our safe deposit boxes for a number of reasons: Protection from federal tax liens, state tax liens, alimony, child support, mechanics liens, bankruptcy, civil judgements, as well as other creditors.

Thank you Tamborista, but this is the problem: i did search on dr1 before posting, but i did not find any information, that is why i decided to start this thread...
