With nothing better to do yesterday afternoon I was walking around hoping to see something worth taking a photo. Just arriving at the beach by the Waterfront Restaurant in Sosua there was a roar and a small plane flashed by close to the beach. Realizing it was the plane I read about on the board previously that is campaigning for Hipolito I got my camera out and waited to see if it would come back. Not only did it return, but put on quite a show. Wishing I had my zoom lens (70-300) instead of my walk-around lens (18-135) I took as many photos as I could. Even though the plane never again came as close to the beach as it did on the first pass, I got some decent shots after cropping the photo. So that you know what the plane looks like:
