PGA Tour Latino America to Punta Cana

The newly created PGA Tour Latino America includes the DR Open that this year will be played at the Cana Bay Golf Course, adjacent to the Hard Rock Cafe Hotel & Casino Punta Cana, in northern Punta Cana. The event was created by PGA Tour to help prepare Latin American players for the 2016 Olympics in Brazil, when golf will again be included. The Cana Bay Golf Course runs 7,253 yards and was designed by Nicklaus Golf.
The Dominican Republic previously hosted the PGA Champions Tour at Punta Espada Golf Course in Cap Cana, in southern Punta Cana, for three consecutive years -- 2008, 2009 and 2010.
The PGA Tour Latino America will be played in seven countries from September through December 2012 ? Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and Colombia.

Wondering if we "veteran" volunteers from the Champion's Tour events will be welcomed to the event. They need lots of people to run one of those things....

IF they treat the volunteers well, they might have a successful run here. The Champions Tour event seemed to go downhill with the decline of Cap Cana....and they were not as nice as before...
