Election laws/businesses open that day?

Just wondering about the laws pertainining to businesses being open on election day. What businesses are allowed to be open? I vaguely remember something in the past about things being closed, so as not to prevent people from being able to vote. But then obviously the airports and hospitals/clinics are functioning.
Back in 2004 even the churches were closed (many held services on Saturday instead). Is there any restrictions there?

Just wondering....

About as you indicated so that people can vote. They have to vote where registered, which means many must travel to a place other than where they live.

The country is pretty much shut down for the day. Nothing much will be open.

You don't need to close your business but have to grant your employees the possibility to vote. If I'm not mistaken any gathering that might be used to prevent people from voting is forbidden, including church services. Probably 21st will be announced a holiday Sunday afternoon to avoid people leaving the city for the weekend and not vote (PLD wouldn't like that)
