We are planning a dive-trip of a couple of days to Isla Mona.
All of us are from Europe and we have valid passports (of our countries) and also valid residencias/cedulas.
We will sleep on the boat and will NOT "touch" the island; do we need a US Visa or any other document?
Thanks.

You should call the Department of National Resources (787 722-1726) before going there since it is a protected area, only a certain amount of people allowed there at the same time. I think you can only go there with guided excursions.

Permits are needed to go to Mona Island and it is best to phone the number above to get up to date information.

Also, be aware activiity near Mona Island is under heavy scrutiny because of people and drug trafficking concerns. If you do go you are at risk from the traffickers and you may be questioned by the maritine authorities for your reasons for being in the area.
