The exchange rate

I was very much expecting the exchange rate of pesos per dollar to start creeping up after the election, but it seems to be staying right around the 38.9/dollar area. In fact, I was guessing that it would have been already been at 40:1 by now, but it is not.
Should I be expecting it to creep up after the inauguration??? Or is it now looking like the government might keep the exchange rate at this level for quite a while???
What are your opinions?

Hippo lost so I think it will hold steady at least for the near future. Once Medina takes power he will have to pass a tax rate hike, so will see how that plays into the economy in general.

Interesting - so you think it will probably hold until the new taxes. It just seemed like it was being "artificially" held just below 39 before the elections. I kind of thought it would go up a little.
