info on the santiago's new airport & airlines.

Please inform me on the current developmental phase of the new santiago international airport. Would it be open by november as announced? What new airlines would be coming into santiago? I have heard that Delta airlines (or ASA commuter airlines of delta) would be starting a service to dominican republic from atlanta or some other major US city.
Is Air jamaica interested in flying to Dominican Republic as well?
If anyone has any definite information, I would appreciate it if you would like to share it with us.
