You are so helpful this afternoon!
Where can I get that buffet, looks decent.
LOL...

They're everywhere!:cheeky:

(Actually, the best buffet I've had in the DR was the New Years Eve buffer @ the Ahmsa Grand Paradise in Samana last year. I'll try to find some pics we took...

Seriously, asking "how much is food for 2 for a month" is a question that can't really be answered except in the broadest terms...

We spend about 20000 a month at the Sirena, and we dont eat lunch or breakfast at home, only on the weekend, you can do with a lot less, but i prefer to eat good meat, cheese, cold cuts and the whole lot. Another one is my Baylies, buy one every week as i have a drink before going to sleep with chocolate chip cookies.

300 pesos for a gallon of Apple Juice?? 1000 pesos for 2lbs of nuts?? Ouch... They really kill you on imports. Last time I got mixed nuts on sale at the local NY drug store, it was two 12oz cans for $5.

Well, you do not have to resort to imports.
I forget the name of this seaweed clown here, he would tell you that you can live on less than 10$ a day. :bunny:

It's all a matter of taste and preferences.

Don't hate, that "energy machine" was nuclear powered, and I betcha he was the best solar cooker in the Caribbean.
