Street closed from 2 - midnight.
Closing BEGINS by AMET about noon, to get it all cleared by 2.
The street fair is one portion of Canada Day festivities.
Kids activities during the day, other activities for the family.
DJ music later, along with live music from the Dropouts, a local
band.
See posters around town along PC.

Street closing begins around 10 am so that all the cars can be off the street by noon so they can begin games set up and market set up so everything is ready to go by 2 pm. Street doesn't reopen until midnight after the dance is over.

Just one more example of how those who say there is nothing going on in Sosua except the dark side are all wrong. And, as far as I am concerned, those individuals do a great disservice to everyone by posting all the negative things they have to say about the North Coast.

For those of you who live here and regularly contribute positively to the area, working on all the worthy causes and attending all the great, wholesome events, Kudos! Your work and support ARE noticed.

Such a shame that those others don't know better.

How come no one has ever planted a "Lemon Tree" here?

When I was just a lad of ten, my father said to me,
"Come here and take a lesson from the lovely lemon tree."
"Don't put your faith in love, my boy", my father said to me,
"I fear you'll find that love is like the lovely lemon tree."

Lemon tree very pretty and the lemon flower is sweet
But the fruit of the poor lemon is impossible to eat.
Lemon tree very pretty and the lemon flower is sweet
But the fruit of the poor lemon is impossible to eat.

It was sung right around the time of Peter Paul and Mary...............
