DR ahead now 67-60. Looks like they are pulling away.

They really have to win this game, as Korea is one of the weakest teams.

Of the 12 teams competing in the Caracas qualifier tournament only three will get slots to play London Olympics basketball. The DR, ranked 25th in the world, goes at 1pm against Russia, ranked 11th in the world. Even if we loose this game we get another chance.

This game is meaningless, as the DR will get to the quarterfinals win or lose. Russia is most likely the best team in the tournament. But Russia goes to the Qtrs win or lose anyway, so both teams figure to play a lot of people to get rest for the starters.

Russia 84 DR 69 Final. Does not matter, as both teams advance to the Quarterfinals. Need to get to the Semis now to get to London. Three of the four in the Semis make it to the Big Dance.

The DR vs. Macedonia game just started. In a big upset in one of the other Qtrs, Greece lost to Nigeria and are out of the running. This is good for the DR, as Greece figured to take one slot. Now we need to beat Macedonia and then 3 of the 4 semi finalists will go to London. Macedonia is a 3 pt. favorite over the DR, but that does not mean much, as the teams are pretty evenly matched.

Macedonia is ahead 8-2 early on.

Game is on live on Channel 7 Antena. DR is losing 13-4 now.
