Satellite / Mobil Internet

Hi,
We are planning a road trip trought the central portion of DR all the way down to the Haiti border
I would like to have Internet access and was looking for options

I read (in another post) that Claro offers Internet "sticks", the question is, would I have service while driving through those remote locations?

Also if Claro is the solution does anyone know if I can use multiple devices (laptop, tablet) at the same time?

Is there a better way such as satellite Internet?

Interesting, I wasn't familiar with BGAN, might be a bit too much for what I need though
I might take a chance with Claro sticks
If anybody have any experience as far as reliability that would be great to know
