As part of my work I am always doing research online, usually about the DR. Today I came across a slide show written by someone who will remain anonymous, about the issues facing the agriculture sector in the DR. This is word for word what this one slide said.

180 million people in the Dominican republic are under the poverty line.
25% of the Dominican Republic are under the poverty line.
The average IQ of the Dominican republic is 72, which is really not that good.
Poor people get beat, excluded and scorned.
They also have to face harsh winters, floods and other problems

LOL, only thing where this might be correct is the "other problems" part... :)

Well, yes, especially in December I am freezing my a$$ off (is this "harsh" enough? dunno...)

i assume the author is right there, at 72. that would explain the rest of the facts.

Did he test everyone's IQ in order to get that result? Absurd in the extreme. The DR has 180 million people, I always thought it was "estimated" at 10 million. Com'on give us the author!!!!!!!-we wont tell!!!!You know you can trust us.

It says 180 million under the poverty line, and then says 25% under poverty line which means the population is 720 million! As opposed to 10 lol. And my lips are sealed.

Checking the profile there it says "Canada" and "School..."....

I only hope its made by a student who might learn the right facts one day.

If it was done by a teacher I wouldn't send my son to that school ever lol

It is a slide show written by a girl in middle school, meaning grade 6 or 7. Reading the rest is pretty funny actually. She's smarter than some of the posters on here.

She's no worse than a majority of the crap that passes for "internet journalism", or, for that matter, ANY journalism these days.
