D DR One Guest Feb 3, 1999 #3 Puerto Plata is an excellent choice for spring break. Lots of discos, people mingling on the Playa Dorada, Sosua and Cabarete beaches. The towns are fun, too. Make sure you visit Columbus Aquaparque, a great water park located near Sosua.
