From today's Sosua News:

[h=5]The Colonel Raymundo de la Rosa Ogando of the National Police in Sos?a is known for his tough approach to criminals.[/h]
[h=5]But there is more, he is also committed to matters outside his job responsibilities. He consulted with the city council of Sos?a on the street lighting of the access road to Playa Laguna. On this dimly lit road residents feel very unsafe at night. He has also organized talks between the councils of the neighborhoods of La Uni?n, Alto de Chila and Cangrejos and representatives of the waterworks corporation CORAAPLATA about the recurring problems with the water supply. The colonel wants to set up meetings in the near future with representatives of the neighborhood councils to discuss and find a solution to these problems.[/h]

someone needs to......the water in alta de chila is a problem, the peoplelower down have 24/7 water but up the top not much..
there are pipes but they are switched off 'up the line' and consequently when there is some water, the people 'up the line' take it.
