"Zombie" in Santo Domingo 1979

Does anyone remember the film "Zombie"/"Zombi 2" made by
Lucio Fulci in 1979?
I think it was filmed in Santo Domingo in June/July 1979.
I would like to hear from anyone who remembers the film
being made, or who was involved in any way with it.
I would particularly like to hear from the person who
played the long-haired,cross-eyed zombie, or anyone who
remembers them or who knows who they are.

I see this movie (VHS) is available from amazon.com for $6.99 + S&H. Directed by lucio Fulci, and Stars Tisa Farrow and Ian McCulloch. Are there Santo Domingo scenes that would make it worth the price?
