I'm planning my first trip to DR and Haiti for my honeymoon. We're planning some touristy R&R in Puerto Plata for a few days and then exploring northern DR and Haiti. We have everything loosely set except for transportation from Santiago Airport (STI) and Puerto Plata. Our flight gets in at 1:00am on Tuesday October 16th, 2012. Please contact me if you are on the same flight and want to share transportation costs. We would also love any advice for this transportataion issue and recommendations of places/sites to visit during our trip especially remote places that locals frequent (ie. non-tourist destinations). We're super excited to experience DR and Haiti!
