.... I have something dead in my pool, it resembles a mini kangaroo with long back legs(look like they are for hopping). big ears, a very long thin tail (three times the length of the body)and beady black eyes.....about 6 inches long and grey/brown

arent rats big with shorter legs , he looks quite cute apart from being dead any ideas what he is....what sort of mice are there round here

I would've said a rat,except for the big ears.Or maybe it's a big eared rat!:)

drat I put it by the pool awaiting identification and something has run off with it - we will never know

the ears were a big feature like mickey mouse ears, I seemed to remember rats usually have small ears

dont even know how it died as there is only two inches of water in the pool and steps to get out
