One night a weekend warrior ( who arrived at the airport whacked ) stopped in at the newly opened SeaCrets and bought drinks for the chicas. About an hour later he was infront of the place having a chica arrested for stealing RD3000 from him. Later that night when he found the RD3000 in a side pocket we called Sgt. %^&#@ and it only cost RD700 to get her out. The original arresting officer wanted RD3000 ( what a surprise ).

Well the sorta messed up thing is the gringo was saying that that girl didn't do it.. but since he was just pointing at her the cop is automatically going to think he is saying.. "yea she did it", when he was saying "yea your friend did it".. if i had to be accountable for all the dumb stuff my friends have done over the years.. joining the navy would have been a BAD decision.
He was always saying " you didn't do it" but you should go to jail too because she was your friend. Happens all of the world when you have white people a victim of a crime at the hands of dark skinned people.

that is a stupid thing to say. have you never been on holidays in egypt, thailand, greece, china? do you speak any of the local languages?
So your comparing a man in Sosua Dominican Republic to people that travel to Egypt, Greece and China? I can think of 2,000,000 reasons why a person would visit these places and 3 reasons why he would visit Sosua.
Second this man is from the USA where Spanish is spoken almost everywhere. Most people who visit a country make an EFFORT to learn some of the language.
Thrid you ask anybody on the planet how to say the number 1 in Spanish and 99.9% of the people will respond UNO!!! Now ask the same people how to say 1 in some of the countries native tongue you listed and watch the "blank stare" you receive.
BTW My holiday is always one place San Jose, CR. I mountain bike there and go on the canopy tours.
