learning spanish through discussion

Hi everyone, I'm in Sosua and I'd like to learn spanish. I'm quite reluctant to schools. As I speak french and english, is there someone (dominican, who speaks spanish :) ) who 'd like to go for some discussions.
It could be an hour of french or/and english, and an hour in spanish. Kind of a language exchange...

yes but thats for groups, I'm more looking for a regular person to talk to, once in spanish, once in french / english

i would think that by meeting the people in the discussion group, you'd have a good chance of finding someone who would meet one on one over coffee or a beer to do exactly what you're suggesting. but, that's just my thinking...

I came to the Dominican Republic thinking that I would eventually learn Spanish. I realized quickly that coming here to learn Spanish is like going to Boone, NC to learn English... :)
