American-made movies are almost always in English with Spanish subtitles. Animated and Dominican films are in Spanish.

It will say when you buy the ticket at the box office. As it's a Spanish-speaking country most movies are given in Spanish. I enthusiastically recommend learning the language.

Every movie I have seen in Santiago/Sto Dgo, in one of the big malls, has been in English with Spanish subtitles.
