Santo Domingo?

How old are you?
There is plenty of nightlife in Santo Domingo, just depends what you are looking for.

For the well-behaved: Zona Colonial, lots of options.
For wilder action: Avenida Venezuela (Euphoria, Cool Bar, Makumba, La Barrica, etc)

There are many other places scattered all over the city, but those are like the "hubs"

There's a million things to do. Have fun.

The description of the Colonial Zone and Av. Venezuela by Castle are spot on...The Colonial Zone has everything from Jazz and Rock clubs, to sports bars, coffee bars, martini lounges, old-school Dominican and Salsa dance clubs, high-tech discos, etc...even a Hard Rock Cafe...it's pretty tourist-friendly and very walkable.
