Shop around to get the best deal for a stand up paddle board.
In Cabarete check out all the windsurf schools on the beach - they also have SUP boards, and might well have old fleet boards for sale. Ask Jens at the Vela Center. Caribe Wind (the old BiC windsurf center) definitely has them for sale. But like I said shop around. And try them out before you commit. Make sure the deck pad is comfortable under foot.
I think there is also one SUP school in Sosua bay run by Cuban George, he might have gear for sale.
