I need to get money from Cabrera to SD.

I can send a check on the bus..... that's one option.

My account is not open yet for the recipient to go to progreso, reservas, et al to accept a transfer.

Any ideas of the easiest way to get this done before Navidad?
Caribe Tours offer such a service?

Do not send cash for sure. But you can send a check safely. Just write on the back of the check under the signature line

Para Depositor and the account number of the person the check is made out to. This way if it is lost or stolen it is worthless.

Leave a space under the signature line for the person to put his Cedula no. or Passport no there. This is common procedure to deposit checks here.

Caribe Express do money transfer. You pay it in here and they get it out there.

I just make it out to the recipient and he picks it up ?
That easy?

Name phone cedula or what?

Another option is to deposit the money directly into the other persons bank account (if they have one).
No charge and immediate that way.
